In the past five years, the university has been awarded 395 projects of National Natural Science Foundation of China, 7 projects of National Social Science Foundation of China, and 42 provincial and ministerial-level awards, including 1 second prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 Ho Leung Ho Lee Award for Scientific and Technological Innovation, 1 Provincial Top Ten Scientific and Technological Innovation Achievement Award, and 39 Provincial Scientific and Technological Awards (among which there are 1 Supreme Scientific and Technological Award, 2 first prizes, 12 second prizes, 19 third prizes and 5 cooperation prizes).
