On August 29 and30, the China-ASEAN Advanced Nursing Education Leaders’ Dialogue and Forum washeld by the Nursing School of ZMU as a part of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week. With the theme of “Better Education, Better Future”, the Forum focused on the establishment of a nursing education alliance, leaders’ dialogue and exchange, dissertationsreportsby excellent students, and the display of innovative achievements, providing an important platform for China and ASEAN countries to carry out dialogue and exchange in advanced nursing education.

Liu Jianguo, President of Zunyi Medical University, Shang Shaomei,Dean of Nursing School of Peking University, and Sally Chan, President of Tung Wah College of Hong Kong delivered speeches at the opening ceremony.

Experts from China and abroad were invited todeliver academic reports during the forum,including Jiang Xiaoying, Wu Ying, Sun Hongyu, Chong Mei Chan, Lin Qing, Yuan Changrong, Zhang Lili and Tan Jingyu, providingnew ideas and insights for the reform and high-quality development of nursing education. 35 award-winning dissertationswere shared for report and exchange.
