The 2024 “Zhi & Xing Guizhou” Summer Camp for Medical Students was held successfully from June 25 to June 29 by ZMU, capturing the hearts of teachers and students both at home and abroad.

The one-week program includes not only special courses like TCM Techniques and Local Herbal Medicine of Guizhou, but also various exciting activities such as ice-breaking, intangible cultural heritage experience, city walk and site visits. Ten teachers and students from Perm State Medical University and Mahidol University and over twenty Chinese buddies were invited to the program. Participants tasted the local food, learned the paper cutting art of the Nuo plays in Zunyi and had a better grasp of TCM.

The program aims to increase youths’ knowledge of Guizhou through the unity of learning and experiencing and promote the exchanges among them. It offers a platform for youths both at home and abroad to build friendship and enhance their cross-cultural communication skills. Teachers and students all expressed their gratitude to ZMU for granting them the chance to participate in such a wonderful activity and said that they all created a wonderful memory through this program.
