The 2^ndForum on Boosting High-quality Development of Regional Economy and Society Through Higher Education was held successfully at ZMU as a part of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week on August 29. Luo Qingming(Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Wang Songling(Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Li Lanjuan(Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering), Li Xiaokun(Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering), Zhao Yimin(Fellow of the Chinese Academy of Engineering), Li Qingquan(Party Secretary of Shenzhen University) and Zhao Jie(President of Dalian Medical University) were invited to the forum.He Zhixu, Zhao Jie and Mayor Huang Wei made remarks at the opening ceremony.

Luo Qingming, Wang Songling, Li Lanjuan, Li Xiaokun, Zhao Yimin delivered academic reports on the development of medical education, innovation of medical technology and promotion of regional development at the forum.

Since the launching of the China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, ZMU has been actively participating in the event and strengthened cooperation with universities and institutes in ASEAN countries.
