On October 8, Prof. Li Xinmin, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry of the University of Alberta, Canada visited ZMU and met with President Liu Jianguo. The meeting, with attendants from relevant departments, was held by Ms. Jiang Yi, Director of International Cooperation Dept.

After giving a warm welcome to Li Xinmin, Liu Jianguo made a brief introduction to ZMU and expressed his sincere wish that the two universities could establish collaboration inmultiple aspects such as joint education of postgraduates, research projects application and clinical training.

Li Xinmin introduced theoverall development of Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, the University of Alberta and a number of international exchange programs they had launched. He also hoped both parties could strengthen collaboration in the near future.
