From July 15 to September 20, 2023 China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week "My Love For China" Chinese Essay contest was successfully held, which isthe eighth consecutive year that ZMU has hosted this event.

This essay contest with the theme of "My Love Affair with China" is open to international students from ASEAN and "Belt and Road" countries, aiming to actively promote exchanges between China and ASEAN countries, builda bridge of people-to-people exchanges for all countries, and promote mutual learning and common development.

The contest has received excellent works from 15 countries and three international students ranked first in the contest, including Yangguang, a Somali student from Minzu University of China , Ni Haiyan, a Vietnamese student from Guizhou University and Fujie, a Bangladeshi student from Zunyi Vocational and Technical College. Five contestants won the second prize,nine the third prize, twelve the excellent prize, and the outstanding instructor awards were given as well.
